Driving 2hrs 30mins from Seoul, you can visit Sockcho city near the East Sea. This city is  specially well known for Mt Seorak National park. 

Seoraksan National Park is popular with locals and tourists alike, has one of the best topographic landscapes with awesome autumn foliage in the country. 

There are many hiking trails available and you can also take the cable car to the Qwangeumseong fortress to enjoy the beautiful scenery from the top. We have flexibly schedule for our customers so If you want, you can spend whole day at the Mt Seorak trying different trails or you can spend the afternoon in the Downtown city visiting famous Market near the fishing village and Younggeumjeong pavilion, one of the scenic spot in East Sea.. It will be perfect time to spend one day outside of Seoul, you can enjoy beautiful Nature and small town in Countryside of Korea.

- Pick up at your hotel 

- Move to Sockcho city ( Driving 2hrs 30mins from Seoul ) 

- Mt Seorak National park 

- Take the cable car to the Qwangeumseong Fortress 

- Sinheungsa Buddhist temple 

- Lunch 

- Sockcho Jungang Traditional market 

- Yeonggeumjeong Pavilion 

- Move back to Seoul 

- Drop you at the hotel

Seoraksan Mountain is renowned for its natural splendors and breathtaking views. It holds the distinction of being Korea's first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and is also listed on the IUCN Green List. The mountain is divided into Inner Seorak, South Seorak, and Outer Seorak, which includes Daecheongbong peak (1,708 meters above sea level), ranking as the third highest peak in Korea. you can take the cable car to the Gwanggeumseong Fortress and can enjoy the majestic view of Seoraksan Mountain and the blue waters of East Sea from the Top. Gwongeumseong Fortress is stone castle from Goryeo Dynasty and is located 800 meters above sea level in Seoraksan National park. From a distance, Gwongeumseong Fortress looks like a rising peak, while up close, the expansive stone floor and remnants of castle walks become visible. Also many Hiking trails are available. if you want, you can hike to the Biryong waterfall or Towangseong waterfall with your guide ( About 3 hrs hiking ).

* Sinheungsa Buddhist Temple

: Sinheungsa Temple is a temple located in Seoraksan Mountain. It belongs to the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. It was originally founded as Hyangseongsa Temple by the monk Jajang in the Shilla dynasty ( A.D.652 ). Within the temple grounds, Cultural heritage sites such as Geungnakkbojeon hall, a wooden structure from the mid-Joseon period, and the Three-story Stone Pagoda at Hyangseongsa Temple Site.

* Sockchon Jungang Market

The Sokcho Jungang Market, an essential tourist attraction in Sokcho, offers all sorts of things. The market is divided into several alleyways specialized in each product such as a vegetable & fruit alley, a chili pepper alley, a blood sausage alley, a salted seafood market alley, a chicken alley, and so on. Especially, fresh agricultural and fish products, and dried seafood products will draw visitors’ attention. The chicken alley is popular among tourists with various crunchy and spicy dak gangjeong (glazed fried chicken bites) stores, which offer their own taste. you can try some famous local food and Close to the sea, you can buy fresh seafood. Ranging from raw seafood to dried ingredients and ready-to-eat dishes, this market is the perfect place to try authentic Korean seafood.

* Yeonggeumjeong Pavilion

: Yeonggeumjeong refers to the area covering the shore by the Sokcho Lighthouse in Sokcho-si City. The name Yeonggeumjeong comes from a notion that the sound of waves hitting the rocks is comparable to the melody of geomungo (traditional stringed instrument with 6 strings). At the end of the 50m-long bridge built over a rocky peninsula is a pavilion offering a view of the East Sea.
